Countdown to our fabulous Country Fair!

Just a few sleeps to go until our famous school and community fundraiser - the Glamorgan Vale State School Country Fair on Saturday, 16th September. The day will kick off at 10am and run through until 4pm.

Some of the highlights of the day will be:

Rides & Side Show Alley: The Fishing Game, Lucky Dips, Jumping Castle, The Dunny Roll Throw, Ten Pin Bowling, Donkey Cart rides, Bust the Balloons, Pony Rides, Merry-g-round, Putt Putt Challenge, Face Painting, Kids Corner.

Novelty Events: Greasy Barrel, Two Legged Trots, Adults Aussie Challenge, Sack Races, The Pony Plop, Milk Cart Derby, Cow Pad Throwing, Three Legged Races, Tractor Pull, Kids Ice Cream Challenge, Gum Boot Throw, Best Scarecrow Competition, Hay Bale Roll. There will also be a Sheep Shearing Display.

Stalls: Hot Food, Cake, New Clothing & Crafts, Licensed Bar, Bottle, Woodwork, Devonshire Tea, Trash & Treasure, Teddy, Vegetable, Show Bags, Jewelry. There is also a rumor that the Award winning cook Geoff Beattie may be having a jam stall!

There will be raffles and popular Country Artist, Mick Lindsay will be performing from noon till 4pm.

Come along, bring the family and have a great day out, while supporting our great school. Don't forget to purchase your $2 tickets in the Pony Plop competition - available from the school office at $2 each. Prize is $50 cash.
