It was great to see so many children dress up for the parade. The colouring competition was won by P/1 Georgia Spicer, 2/3/4 Isabella Beattie, 5/6/7 Lacclan Gottfried and Taneesha Beattie. The best costumes were P/1 Rosh Lenehan, 2/3/4 Cheyenne Rayner and 5/6/7 Rory McIntyre. Each day the group will tend to the garden to produce some vegetables. They have started with some lettuce, tomatoes, onions, chives, parsley and some fragrant herbs. Coming soon also will be some snow peas, cucumbers and potatoes. It is great to see the children so keen to grow their own food, and they are hoping to use the end products in the tuckshop and maybe even sell surplus fresh vegies.
