Mrs Nielsen along with a small group of students have started a vegetable garden beside the pond. Each day the group will tend to the garden to produce some vegetables. They have started with some lettuce, tomatoes, onions, chives, parsley and some fragrant herbs. Coming soon also will be some snow peas, cucumbers and potatoes. It is great to see the children so keen to grow their own food, and they are hoping to use the end products in the tuckshop and maybe even sell surplus fresh vegies. Please encourage them in their efforts!
